Focus on Your First Few Skill Gems
In Path of Exile 2, skill gems are at the heart of Path of Exile 2 Currency your character's abilities. These are the primary way you interact with combat and provide a vast range of customization.

Pick a Core Skill: In the early game, choose a core skill gem that fits your class and start leveling it up. Each class has access to different gems, so pick one that aligns with your playstyle (e.g., Fireball, Leap Slam, or Summon Skeletons). Stick with one or two main skills until you get used to combat mechanics.

Use Support Gems Early: As you progress, make sure to use support gems to enhance your core skills. These gems modify the effects of your active skill gems, adding damage, area of effect, or other beneficial effects. For example, you can combine Added Fire Damage with a Fireball skill gem to increase its damage output.

Experiment with Hybrid Gems: Once you're more comfortable, start experimenting with hybrid skill gems to combine elements and create more powerful effects. Hybrid gems allow you to create unique skill combinations and synergies between different elements and buy POE2 Currency effects.
